Contract Award Notice

1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Reconnection to Central Asian Power System. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding was open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

2. The Joint Stockholding Company "Barqi Tojik" (“the Employer”) invited sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the design, manufacture, test, deliver, install, complete and commission. Relay Protection Systems at Various Substations, as Well as for Construction of Two 500 kV Connection Points at Sugd Substation (“the Facilities”).

3. International Competitive Bidding has been conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and was open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
